Wilshire Park, Portland NatureSpace Project

As a family that is passionate about park time and restoring our PWN community spaces, we were thrilled to support the Friends of Wilshire Park NatureSpace project. This collaborative, community driven park initiative created a low-maintenance natural landscape inspired by Oregon's forest ecosystems including a wide variety of flowering plants native to the Pacific Northwest that provide a habitat for birds, pollinating insects, and other wildlife. Boulders and logs were strategically placed to provide seating and create a path curves through the NatureSpace creating a lush detour for park visitors.
